  32. By chance, do you have the MS keyboard?  That software pops some things here
  33. and there.  With NT, one never knows where things get stashed in the system.
  34. Checking out Control Panel/Services shows stuff that may or may not be
  35. running.  Another thing to try is to load up REGEDT32 and search for "FFI"
  36. or similar.  The "Registry" is a good hunting ground for various oddball
  37. configuration things.  Personally, I hate the "Registry" as who knows what
  38. evil can lurk there or can do something there that can really muck things
  39. up.  I had to do mass search and destroy in the Registry to uninstall the
  40. darn DPS PAR drivers before I stopped getting warning dialogs at bootup.

  42. I tell ya!  Each time I muck with the innards of a PC or the OS, the Amiga
  43. (both hardware and OS) looks better and better!  But hey!  DescentII is cool
  44. and LW renders fast!  :)
